I bought a box of cake mix just for the occasion, unfortunately for us the bag inside was open and was a mess inside the box…so I have to return it…thing is I already started making the milkshakes….so I improvised! For Birthday Cake Milkshakes follow this link birthday-cake-milkshakes.
To make strawberry milkshakes its really simple! I used 2 cups of strawberries mashed them with a hand blender and added some sugar to sweeten.
I then added 1 cup milk, and scooped out 6-7 large scoops of vanilla ice cream, blended it all together. My kids said ‘wow mom this actually tastes really good’.
When I get the chance this week or next, I will have to try the Birthday Cake Milkshakes! Thank you again Joan for sharing this with us!:)
